About Us

Soccer contributes to the well-being of children by engaging them in the sport while teaching them basic movement skills. Our goal is to have the kids try all the skills of soccer, and to grow within the game without pressure.  Our young players may only run up and down the field for 45 minutes…make some good kicks and some not so good ones, but most importantly they are keeping fit and healthy!  We at Moose Mountain Soccer encourage them to have fun, try their best and learn a few things along the way.  In the older age categories more game scenarios are available within our club and other surrounding communities. 

Q.   Who can play soccer?
A.    We currently offer teams for youth ages 4 - 13 (born 2009-2019):

       The teams will be divided up into the following age categories:

 

Under 13	Players born in  2010/2009
Under 11	Players born in  2012/2011
Under 9	Players born in  2014/2013
Under 7	Players born in  2016/2015
Under 5	Players born in  2018/2017

 

If we have large enrollment in any one age category we may look at having more than one team in that age group.**
 


Q.   When does the Season Run?
 
A.    The season will run from April 26- June 30 2022 (10 weeks) - *** WEATHER PERMITTING
       We don`t totally know how the season will run, as we need to know numbers of kids first.

 

 
Q.   What days is soccer offered?
 
A.    Soccer nights are tentatively booked for Tuesday & Thursdays *** WEATHER PERMITTING . Times will be decided pending the confirmation of coaches and their availabilities. 

 
 
Q.   What does my child need to play soccer?
 
A.    All children will be required to wear shin guards and masks when on the soccer field  - soccer cleats are not required, regular running shoes will be sufficient. Please do not send your child in baseball cleats as they will do damage to our soccer field.

 

 
 
Q.   What are the costs?
A.    Registration Fees are as follows:

 

Under 5(Male/Female)includes SSA Fee	$75.00
Under 7(Male/Female) includes SSA Fee	$90.00
Under 9(Male/Female) includes SSA Fee	$100.00
Under 11(Male/Female) includes SSA Fee	$100.00
Under 13(Male/Female) includes SSA Fee	$100.00

 
Each child will be required to register with the Saskatchewan Soccer Association. This is included in the Registration fee. 

 
Q.  How do I register for soccer?
